Praxemes and Sin City 3 and BookBricks of Building Christian Civilization

Dear Mike Bull:

Praxemes and Sin City 3 and BookBricks of Building Christian Civilization
Praxeme is a methodology for enterprise architecture which provides a structured approach to the design and implementation of an enterprise information architecture.’ [1]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Praxeme

I’ve only made a small beginning by using JBJ’s 49-book Bible as something to ‘walk around in,’ like a memory palace, where certain memories are triggered by being somehow located in the mind as the palace (usually a cathedral) was built.

You use many more sequences, such as the sequence of feasts, the structure of the tabernacle, etc.

Someday, someone will work on combining all of these things in an applicatory way, and the way of application, or ways of application, will have much to do with praxemes.

Now, as an encouragement, here’s one thought.  I explain it by narrative.  I was attempting to put a list of energy medicine practitioners, found in Lipton’s ‘Honeymoon Effect’ book, into a catalog, like the Dewey Decimal System, only using the 49-book Bible.  These 49 are for ‘wisdom’.

Why?  Because God made the Heaven, the Earth and all that in them is in 6 says, 7 counting the Fall, 8 with Resurrection on the 8th Day—12 counting Ascension, Pentecost, A. D. 70, and The Great Day, but these latter may also be seen as a 7 and 5, or maybe a 6 and 6, or a chiasm, or…?

Well, and it is a well-taken pont (bridge, ‘point’) that there is a presuppositional theology to the Dewey Decimal System, and one to the ’49 System’ I’ll call it.  The 49 System would have us categorize things in a way of God’s Creation.  This is similar, though weaker in ways and stronger in others to your good work of using the sequence of feasts, the structure of the tabernacle, etc.

As I go through the year (I call it CORAM, Latin for ‘face, presence’: Celebration Of Resurrection Anno Mundi—and the ‘of’ may be appositive, meaning ‘that is’. ) more will be categorized, as for instance under Jeremiah, the weaving together of the 49 prophecies therein (Bullinger, Companion Bible) with the acrostic triads (broken, so no total doom) of Lamentations, and other acrostics and 49s into a 3rd- or 4th- step derivation pointing toward the category ‘Art’.  I don’t know.  My work in ‘ur’ as in ‘ursprache’ and liminal, as in ‘on the edge’—I pray.

So, thanks for your work.  The method is even more important than the results, in this way, that it puts our minds into Biblical categories.

Love in King Jesus,

Charlie
