What's The Imperative?

Were we to emphasize a renewal of the covenant, and the Lord's Supper, with an ORDER, that is commissioning, such as Matt. 28, at the end, that would be a start. Without the imperative, there is nothing. An assignment, then. Read Chapter 5 of Clint Gardner's 'Beyond Belief' in which he limns each of the revolutions of the West, with the appropriate imperative for each, and the subsequent forms of speech, and tell us what the imperative is for this new era dawning. I've proposed several good ones.

What's The Imperative?

This Week ( 7 oath--sheba)

It's Hebrews (Genesis) week [sheba], Season of Blessed are the Poor in Spirit (and Woe in Matt. 23), SardisCoram 862. And more weird stuff to come. But the key for the week is 'Do not fail to enter the new Creation of Jesus Christ'. No more Kadesh-Barnea, writ large.

Disciple Your Community!

Elevator Speech (15 seconds); Do you know how people don’t disciple their own communitie, though they are commanded to do so? What I do is go through the history of technological and other changes that destroy the old community, and make a new one, and sum it up to show how one gets the authority to tell his community what to do.

...a history of 'song'-ing through the liturgy, arriving

...a history of 'song'-ing through the liturgy, arriving at the 'new song, that we are. Ps. 150, Song of Moses, Song of the Red Sea, Magnificat, Psalms as aids to prayer, then Hymns (A Mighty Fortress as Psalm 46, etc.). A recap, as in Deut. before the new way.

Imagine The Image-Nation

The invention of invention--not just serendipity. ERH said that the French did it. I like to be a member of the image-nation, those in the image of God, who imagine. Jon is one of them. Imagine that you are a member of the image-nation!

Imagine The Image-Nation

PS: The aleph-beth, the alpha-beta, the alphabet.

Back Exegete Song Of Angels At Creation. It can be done

Back Exegete Song Of Angels At Creation. It can be done.

Job 38:7. John 14:12

I was just thinking of a multi-generational task of reverse-exegeting to find the song the angels sang at Creation. It would be like the songs in response to events, such as the Song of the Red Sea, or to covenants, such as the Song of Moses. Or the Ascension--Rev. 5:12, 7:12. In a way, many hymns are responses to Bible verses, in the way that 'A Mighty Fortress' is to Psalm 46. More later. Love in King Jesus, Chuck

Deep Exegesis. Psalm 8:5, Hebrews 2:7.

Like reverse engineering.

Mini-JBJ Sermon Effectiveness Maximizer (mini-SEM)

I often do a mini-JBJ Sermon Effectiveness Maneuver that takes the 'theme' of the sermon, and, each day of the week, runs that theme through the periods of Bible history that JBJ mentions in both 'Crisis...', and 'Brief Reader's...'.

Thus Psalms of Ascent:

Remanant and Exile
World Witness
Communion with God/Apsotasy

For advance study and application, vocationally, one could do:
Venus (Mercury)
Mercury (Venus)

For the prophets amongst, do this order :
K.O.L (dragvolved)

(This is the 'lining out' order of JBJ's first list, re-retuned in psalmodic response:
1234567 to 4152(3)6 3 (2) 7 to '8'531642.

Be sure to have the duality of theme and vocation together.

Love in King Jesus,

PS: For extra points, add a 'B' in the center of the 3rd, and a backwards moY, and pronounce it YUMM!, and one can eat time(s) as Adam breathed in the Breath, to modulate breath out in glorification.
This is 'Monday': A joyous SardsYUMM! to you and all you all, SardisBmoY.

So, with Psalms of Ascent, one would work with the songs in the Bible, in each period, and the mountains, and the ascensions, and one’s vocation – calendars? The shift from one layer of society to another? – and one would certainly grow, I’d think. One would be ascending the har to the mo’ed.
