I am relatively ignorant of what others are suggesting, but...
1--How did the church get along without theology. (The word
was invented @12th C.?--'scientist didn't come in until 19th C.?)
2--Use the things such as invention/developments of church
year, lectionary. I favor 'rubber band' witnessing. Why are you wearing a red
rubber band? Because of Pentecost. What's Pentecost/ Always be ready to give an
answer...
3--JBJ's work is crucial (pun intended), especially
'Rethinking the Order of the Old Testament'4--Singing is glorified
speech. Thus (Peter Leithart footnoted) Gioia on 'Music' is key, Fragments must
be mined to know the true history.
5--Speech thinkers (ERH in Stanford Encyclopedia of
Philosophy), especially his Imperative-Subjective-Narrative-Objective schema,
unto Planetary Service.. JBJ: Law, Lyric, Evaluation, Fact.
6--Goedel's Incompleteness work is important. Any axiomatic
system is incomplete. What does that do to 'logic''? Logos is not logic
Added: Thus, sing the books of the Bible. Use
Bullinger/Dorsey for chiasms. Put ‘em on side and scale the mountain with
musical scales.
Sing and march around, the redeemed assembly as a microcosm of the redeemed
Creation.
