I've been in various parties. In college, the Democratic precinct held Christopher Lasch ('Culture of Narcissus') and the big debate before my election to the county convention was on Viet Nam. I think assistant coach Bob Flora was pro. Then I worked for a guy running for Governot, 3rd party, and I ran for
Treasurer on what I now call Direct Appropriation in my Twelve Word Platform (which now has 15, by adding 'Git 'Er Done'). Led the ticket as Treasurer caddidate. I was one of the 12 founders of the Libertarian Party in '76. Then I tried some Republican stuff. Recently I've worked longer term with 'The Next Thousand Years A Prayer' I was VERY sick when I wrote this, D. V. I'll do better with Q & A, etc. chuckhartmanhistoryconductorIncomplete on Google Docs

Here's 'Opera of History'--near the end https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WLi52EmzVVV7djeDfWP5MNCrjbOKHC5PSL7F8wlbe7o/edit?tab=t.0
And I am much impressed with Big Picture things like Cremo and Joseph Farrell and Creveld-Barzun-Berman-Nisbet-Gurri. www.erhfund.org 'Universal History 1954' is FREE, transcripts and audio, from a Dartmouth class. Few go for 'reverse speech'--people speak truth backwardly--but Trump's reversals are good, says David Oates. Our hope is Local Local Local since these uSA (sic) is bankrupt, and so are most nation states, and the next thousand years is one of Small Enthusiastic Groups, racing with decentralization. The guy who did pin yin under Mao did well, and Sanskrit has multiple tenses.
