Limited Atonement and Dreams--Response to a Question

     2 is about Jeremiah Time
3 is about your tax credits

Hell and Dreams:  In all theology, consult  your pastor, but above all the Bible. We also are blessed with the internet,https://search.aol.com/aol/search?s_it=webmail-searchbox&q=limited%20atonement I put 'limited atonementin my search engine. Lastly, social media and theologians on social media could help.

I'm thinking that Aaron Gonzalex' idea of sermons before Tulip Time on TULIP would be nice, and something to give out at Tulip Time--short--would be good. Someday the ad sheets will have that and PellaCoin (airdrop, I think it's called.

I think we must affirm both limited atonement, and that God wished all to be saved (or is it 'healed' in 2 Timothy 1:4?)

This fits in with the Chalcedon statement (and other creeds) that Jesus Christ issboth God and Man without confusion, division, separation or mixture).'Both/And Logic.

Also this fits in with the ida that if someone is sorrowing over his or her sin, we must tell them about what God has done for us--give them assurance. And that if someone is high-handedly sinning, we must tell them what God requires. Gospel and Law.

DREAMS

The general view is that all these 'signs' and other methodsof communication from Godhave been replaced with the Bible.

Therefor,we should be very sceptical.

Agin, you pastor and the Bible, social media theologians, and the internet are places to go. I searched 'dreams and new covenant'. https://search.aol.com/aol/search?s_it=webmail-searchbox&q=Dreams%20and%20New%20Covenant

A wise theologian, Dr. Bledsoe, has put forth the view that where the Gospel is new, such signs as dreams can legitimately occur.  Thus, reports are that many Muslimshave had Jesus appear to them in dreams

But  I would point them back to the Bible. What does the Bible say?

Communion is enough of a mystery for most.

Love in King Jesus,

Chuck
