In 'I Hope I Shall Arrive Soon', first essay he has a neat chiasm. He starts with Disneyland/simulacra, and ends with no to Disneyland/sumulacra and real birds singing.
In the meantime, he says he has been motivated by 2 questions: What is reality? What constitutes the authentic human being?
He answers both, the second very surprisingly! (Note: In Gilder's 'Life After Capitalism' (he means the 'old' capitalit]sm) he says that information is surprise. He also has surprising info on dreams and coincidences.
