Learning from Mennonites, Lutherans, ERH, Baptist brother, 40 Days: Imperatives
I started reading 'Oxford History of
Christian Worship' at Mennonites.
Christian Worship' at Mennonites.
Keyly, they have/had a 3-sided seating plan, so that the would be more 'one another' than listening to 'sage on stage'.
They also did a lot of 1 Cor. 14.
Lutherans light a candle at start, extinguish at end. Evening and morning = Day, and light has come.
ERH ('Origin of
Speech') talks of time cup. We lose the strength of the imperative when we go to an analytic mode before the imperative cup is filled.

My brother has written 'New Testament Imperativity' which list all the commands of the New Testament.
Are the 40 Days between Resurrection and Ascension (and see Ephesians 2:6) a further prophetic speech/action, and proleptic to Pentecost? Thus, the Word is bread (Man shall not live by bread alone, but...) as alpha food, and the fish/Gentiles?/nations?/ichthys omega food? Thus, add to the Passover bread/body and wine/blood, another layer? Give fish as leave service?
I think so.

PS: And DO Psalm 146 (JBJ, 150 in present Bibles) don't only sing about praising with timbrel (tambourine) and dance, etc.
