#163 and Meyers' 5

 #163 and Meyers 5

Greg Hartman 'New Testament Imperativity', then Maimonides #163, what does it mean now corporately and individually
3 instances of '...put on the whle armor of God...'
What did it mean then indicudually and corporately, what's happened in 2000 years (a change, same in spirit, regarding 'How was it fulfilled in/by Jesus') and what does it mean now, corporately and individually?
The key point is that the 'armor of God' was more like the garments of the High Priest, than that of a Roman soldier.
So now we must study that, especially in light of the Priesthood of all Believers.
---
Well, #163 is about non-kosher maggots, but 164 is more interesting re: observing childbirth
  1. Lev. 11:44 — Not to eat non-kosher maggots
  2. Lev. 12:2 — Observe the laws of impurity caused by childbirth
We can surely say that these hold some wisdom, especially the 40 days of separation. Jesus' life fulfilled this in/by what? I'm at a loss. (PS: Were there kosher maggots then?)

Love in King Jesus,

Chuck Hartman
