It was a side effect of wound treatment. Not a tube, but a room he was put in while on a gurney. Hyper-Baric oxygen therapy.

He’s not knowingly closely related to the only man to have won an Olympic gold medal and the Nobel Prize.

Anyone else over 80, wanting better memory? Best to be near big medical complex, big city, though even chiropractors now have tube for non-claustrophobic.
