Biblical Law Today

We need, I think, a broad-based, theologically sophisticated, historically informed, and sociologically penetrating approach to the whole matter of how to translate Biblical law into our post Enlightenment and post Industrial Revolution situation.

Yes, and if we don't we'll miss out. An example would be how the requirement for attendance ('a', please notice) at feast in Jerusalem 3x a year moved Israel away from agriculture, and toward being international traders. Some other of North's insights, to go with Meyers' 5 would help us apply aimonides' 613.

The mandatory tithe that some advocate, let's start there!?
