It took centuries to defeat churches, aristocracy, cities. Their modern equivalent would be Santorum's 'cathio' for the RC institution, Depression Scrip,, and corporate reward programs morphed. Not my calling, save to point it out. 'American' ideas are often enacted in Argentina, El Salvador, BRICS, and Gilder's China.
