American History Community=> Health

Host A 67 American History Community => Health

If I don’t do this SOMEBODY should

Community => Health

Based on Gladwell/s ‘Outliers’ and Roseto Effect

Roseto effect - Wikipedia

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roseto_effect

The Roseto effect is the phenomenon by which a close-knit community experiences a reduced rate of heart disease. The effect is named for Roseto, Pennsylvania.

CONCEPT: Teach American History in high school, using community members as exoerts.

Write a book. Put it on ‘YouTube’.

Make money with membership site. Distribute the wealth

To school employees, school board, experts, and students too.

Divide the period 1620-2020 (400 years) by the number of students. Each studies an individual, institution, Idea, or Invention with its predecessors and successors for the class. Also use before 1620 (especially ‘America B. C.’ by Harvard prof Barry Gell, and for after, mention Kardashev (Civilization 1, all the energy of the planet, 2 = solar system, 3 = galaxy). And more… Key book would be atheist Howard Bloom’s ‘The God Problem’—from subatomic particles on, explorers and consolidators. Has good history of science. All Jordan’ ‘Through New Eyes.Great Christian.

The textbook with its quizzes is assumed to be read, and is basis for grades.

For the after 2020, add futuristic fiction and non-fiction. For before 1620 add Cremo, Hancock, Velikovsky and more. Studens would have questions written for experts, experts would have 1-pagers made, parents would be encouraged to present. ‘No battle plan survives first contact with the enemy’ So too for marketing plans and market.

Examples: John Wesley for Awakening, Newspaper-Ben Franklin, etc. Horace Mann.

The key emphasis would be First Amendment, especially freedom of speech.

Teenagers who made history would seque into treating students as participants in book writing.

JBJ's Psalms Translations

JBJ's Psalm translations important--anyone have them? These are the ones sent to monthly contributors. I didn't keep mine. They bolded the words repeated a significant number of times, and showed better structure. 2

SF bests  also show why.Benford's 'Sigma Structure Symphony': Music as mathematical proof?'  ...Mozart..music of joy... .' '...Bach...music of glory...' '...emergent pattterns in mathematics that you translated into what our minds best see as music.' (This was a story about translating form alien artifict. Also in Popke's 'Sudden, Broken, and Unexpected' there's this: '...music tied together into the history of a person...'I thought of Rosenstock's autobiography of western man and  symphony of history. So when we use Hebrew Cadence (Cassuto, Jordan, Cascione) with JBJ's Psalms, we get comprehensivity. Chuck

My one area is to get the 42x4 of the 'opera of history' done.I've been waiting fecundly (if that's a word) because that's the way my soul works.
I think I'm ready now.

Love in King Jesus,
Chuck Hartman
PS: It's a theodicy. How does history 'opera' back to 'opera' of each Bible book? ERH said history was a symphony. I hold it has human actors, talk, ers, singer, as does opera (or Hollywood musicals).

Technology New Big Things

What are the big technology new things? (Remember Rosenstock; 'An new technology destroys old groups, whileincreasing speed and space')

1--DeepSeek AI
2--120 languages translator
3--Life extension research. Last 18 months greater than all history?
4--2 kinds of science/History

Tabernacle in Liturgy

 Will, yes. Tabernacle in liturgy

IF you want to recap feast of Ancient Israel in liturgy...
Before the Aaronic benediction, pastor sums up book of the week (JBJ's 49)
in front of the congregation, and walks it proleptically as if the Tabernacle were overlaid
ending up, back in front, then goes to the back, the altar, and greets the Purim living
sacrifices as they leave. For more, sing the book using Dorsey or Bulllinger.
Thus 4 blessing--Aaronic, book (sing it), candles extinguished, honor lf blessed living
sacrifices.
Chuck

Projects--2 kinds of science +

 Projects--2 kinds of science

1--Cook 'Zero Point' 2 kinds of science, 2 kinds of history
2--Do Tabernacles, Purim. Sum up book, and around tabernacle proleptically, then Purim asliving sacrifices go out through altar. 4 blessings: Candles extinguished, Aaronic, tabernacle, purim.
3--If not, I, someone. Community Health. 5% Board, employees, speakers, students. Free videos and book, charge membership site, maybe consulting.

Super-ize General Purpose Technologies

Suppose we 'super-ize' each of these general purpose technologies, what would we get? Example: electricity. Example: internal combustion engine. Example: Printing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General-purpose_technology

How would that change society?
Chuck
You Socratists! We'd need Paul's answer: 'O wicked man that I am, Who will save me from the body of this death?'

Meta 120 languages, DeepSeek

Technology: DeepSeek, Meta's 120 language translator--sing Hebrew then?

  1. www.technologyreview.com/2025/01/15/1109994/meta...

Jan 15, 2025 · But Meta’s new modelcalled SeamlessM4T, enables more direct translation from speech in one language to speech in another. The model is described in a paper published today in Nature....

And, per LewRockwell article China has AI @cost similar to IPhone @$1000 for...$30, yes thirty dollars.

But those who worship without candles extinguished at the end (night to day, Amen!) still don't explain it.

Spengler China

This book by 'Spengler' on China is very valuable. I Recommend reading starting on page 119 for a summary, and especially pages starting ot 216 about trust, ending iat 219-220 about the infinite worth of each individual. Other parts are very good tooo, e. g. the meritocracy. the CCP as a continuation of Empire mandarins, that only 1/10 of Chinese can speak Mandarin, the innovation is 'our' key, etc. 'You Will Be Assimilated' by Goldman (The title...I think it misrepresents the book) https://www.amazon.com/You.../dp/1642935409/ref=sr_1_1...

Feasts=>Liturgy How Tabernacles

For extra points use Dorsey, Bullinger chiasms and sing the whole book, singers in pews.

Congregation as Tabernacle is proleptic of whole world converted.

·         Feasts=> Liturgy How Tabernacles?

·

·

·         The others are easier, but...

·         Before the Aaronic benediction, Pastor stands in the well and enunciates the center of a book (JBJ's 49)

·         and walks around the congregation through Table, then Lampstand, ending up back there.

·         After the benediction and during the singing, he moves to the altar (again, in the Tabernacle) and blesses the living sacrifices (shaking hands, our seeming equivalent to a holy kiss) as they go out as Purim.

·         Thus we have 4 'Good News'--the singing (glorified speech), the Aaronic, the living sacrifices, and the night-to-day extinguishing of the candles.

A quest Whitman inspired by Bible

A quest. Literary works far-distantly inspired by Bible. Include Moby Dick is to Leviticus, music from Barzun's 'Dawn to Decadence' and this : Whitman 'The United States themselves are the greatest poem'.

Love in King Jesus,
Chuck 'bothand' Hartman
PS: Ephesisns 'you are his workmanship (Greek poiema)

Leviticus is to Moby Dick as Sameual is to ...

Leviticus is to Moby Dick (JBJ) as Samuel is to _____? what? Part of my 'heurasm' project, Finding the needed new now.

'A Mighty Fortress' is Luther's response to Psalm 46, I've heard.

Steve Schlissel

'When a good man dies, great power is released into the field of time': Rosenstock

Thus Steve Schlissel.
I seem to remember that many years ago he started Urban Nations.
I don't find that now, but...
it's a good idea. About | urbannationsnyc.

Instead/In addition to missionaries going overseas, why not disciple immigrants? It's less expensive.
Why did they come here? Wasn't it for a better life, socially and economically?
And what caused this better life? Mangalwadi ('The book that Made Your World') and Woods ('How the Roman Catholic Church Built Western Civilization') are two. But temper them with pages 140-141 of JBJ's 'Trees and Thorns'.
'The Christian Era is when liabilities are turned into assets': Rosenstock again.
So, could mass 'illegal immigration be turned into as asset, despite 'government'?
Chuck
PS: When we were caring for my mother, an Hispanic man said that they would never abandon, as Americans do.

Sermon Feedback

 4 things.

1--One room school mission.Jennifer Hodges probably knows most. 90 years ago Iowa has the highest literacy rate in the nation They taught HIGH SCHOOL girls in HIGH SCHOOL to teach 1-8 in country schools. Every 2 miles. My mother and at least 2 of her sisters did this. Your homeschoolers could do this.
I'd prefer a tuition-charging for profit school, but extra money could be made by selling a manual, doing consulting or having a membership site.
JBJ would be a good man to talk to, and my brother who was head of the Mississippi State Christian Education Assn. 'New Testament Imperativity' he wrote, listing alll the commands. Education should be Bible- and liturgy based. Luther.
2--You have several acres. Ruth Stout's 'no work' gardening might help. Deer won't. She advocates spreading hay and growing in that. Troy and Amanda Galeazzi.
3--Apprenticing youngsters to trades. Darrell Dow. He has more.
4--Sanjee Benjamin Ang (Pella fella) has info/link that documents Pella as 3rd worst in Iowa concerning something really bad.

Opera of History Update

 Opera of History Update

The 4th part of 'The Next Thousand Years A Prayer' is the Opera of History.
It responds to the singing/marching/opera of each book of the Bible.
The books are structured. Anything structured can be music.
It informs the 12 Small Enthusiastic Groups of the next 1000 years.
I list 42 in each of 4 categories. From 'bereshith' through Acts 2:42.
I'm not publishing yet because they still need work.
I've been much helped by General Purpose Technology on wikipedia.
GPT lists technology that greatly impacts society.
However, individuals, ideas, and institutions are important, in addition to these inventions.
I'll report more later. My mind works serially.

Love in King Jesus,
Chuck
PS: opera is more comprehensive than Rosenstock's symphony,
PPS: We'll have a 4-note response, like Beethoven's 5th--it will not necessarily be chronological.
PPPS: Bullinger and Dorsey are big helps.

Just Entering My Prime

Yes, extravagant. Soon I'll forward 'Just entering my prime' in which I propose the the letter-words of the First Word (B, R, SH, T) are a proto-liturgy conflated with Acts 2:42 and giving 42 (!) instances should help compose 'the opera of history' that responds to singing the opera of each boo, a theodicy. It's 'the most important thig I can do at which I would be most difficult to replace' 3 generations at least.

Sing Samuel Proleptic

 Let's sing Samuel! It's easy

It's 3 generation.
Start with Bullinger.
Arrange pastor in center front.
If you use pews, 'chiasm' it toward and away from pastor.
Proleptically encompass redeemed congregation as tabernacle, through shewbread and lampstand and back.
Aaronic blessing.
Pastor greets all as the leave through altar/prayer/cross--opposite HOH.
Singing and candle extinguishing make 4 graces.
BUT IS THE WILL THERE?
--
Let's sing Samuel! It's easy.
--
--
I avoid most social media, I'm attempting to do a 42x4to 'opera' history in response to GodTrinity's opera of each book of Bible.

PS: '1000' is on Google Docs

Why I avoid most social media

I avoid most social media, I'm attempting to do a 42x4to 'opera' history in response to GodTrinity's opera of each book of Bible.

To Peter Leithart about '1000' book

The Jim stuff is good--another way of Psalm singing, and his books to him. And the  'New Abraham' 1000-year deal is a 3-generation project anyway. But a book a week in addition avoids 'doctrine' and could be unifying. The LCMS when they worshiped in Gaerman celebrated A. D. 70, so liturgy through the year conflated with historical evens isn't bad. To sing each book and prolepticall tabernacle tour it could be valuable. I'm one of the few who can do a 42x4 of history, and the 12 smallenthusiastic groups to start ain't bad. Add; 'New Abraham'--

General Purpose Technologies

  1. General-purpose technology - Wikipedia

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General-purpose_technology

General-purpose technologies (GPTs) are technologies that can affect an entire economy (usually at a national or global level). [1][2][3] GPTs have the potential to drastically alter societies through their impact on pre-existing economic and social structures.

Roseto Community Health American History School

This is best seen in Gladwell's "Outliers'. I'd substitute gardening and American History as community unifiers for gardening and immigrant Italian

Roman Catholic feasts, etc. for the public school sysstem is the established religion at this time in America. Socrates' 'wisdom is morality' vs. Paul's 'Who will save me from this body of death?'. Specialists in the community would speak on their respective areas of expertise, the time span would be divided and each student would be class expert on causes of Invention, Idea, Individua, Institution. All video-ed, and put on YouTube, etc as shotgun. Rifle would be consulting/manual. Scope would be membership site. Each 10%--students, speakers, board, employees. Thus health through community.

Past 39 years

Past 30 years--what's changed? New technology, per 'Abundance' and Peter Diamandis. 'His 5 Ds. Superabundancesays time measurement of money means things are MUCH cheaper. 11 bicycles now at cost in time worked of one in 1900. Technology destroys Post Office--iternet instead of mail. Easier international communication via Facebook, etc. FREE edication (MIT has free courses taught by Nobel laurastes). Khan Academy University of the People (free through MBA) Project Gutenberg (classics free), 'all' the information in the world through smartphones, and much more. Jennifer Patterson HodgesDarrell Dow Tim Galeazzi.

But...'new technology destroy old groups': Rosenstock. How to retain community? Well, 'Contagious Disciple Making', started 80,000 churches in a few years (only 250,000 churches in these uSA. Barb Kalbach the Roseto Effect (health throug community, see on Wikipedia) could be done in small towns through community-members in public school American History or World History courses, etc. My 'The Next Thousand Years A Prayer asks this question yearly in regards to 12 small enthusiastic groups from Rosenstock's 'Universal History 1954'Dartmouth course, FREE at www.erhfund.org (audio and transcript. Yes, Pray For Peace

 Yes, pray for peace.

As Sun Tzu said 'The ultimate victory is to win without the other fellow know there's a war on'
What wars are 'we' in--4th generation, 5th, more...?
After Nap and massed armies, came 2nd artillery, then third, tanks. 4th was the cancelling of Westphalia (only nation states) fifth may be nets (networks) and jets, then there are psyops, etc.
Remember though, that 'The devil is God's devil' and that GodTrinity chastizes those He loves, and that the Redeemed fight (different) Holy Wars for their maturity.
GodTrinity drags us into His future, change us, and as we are torn in the present between the past and the future, the in and the out, our howls become music, and we the singing song. A hero is one between time, the progagoinst, the first sufferer, helping explicitly reconciling opposites in necessary contingencies.

I think I'll work at this in my 'prime'/declining years.

Connie Willis 'At the Rialto'

A great read. Connie Willis 'At the Rialto' Up there with Lafferty's super 'What Was The Name of That Town?' Shows quantum theory humorously parallel with events at conference of physicists on quantum theory. Good language puns: 'Durcheinander'=through each other, 'Gedanken'= thanked. Etc. Found in 7th Annual best SF.
Laughter shows surprise, surprise is information, laughter is a type of breath. 2 Timothy 3:16, George Gilder 'Life After Capitalism' I hope it's in 'Best of Connne Willis' Checked out by accident
